I highly recommend Ruben's Painting!!! They did such an amazing job and at great price!! He's painted several houses in our track and I'm sure he'll do more. My wife and I are extremely pleased with everything things they did!! Bravo to you and your workers Ruben!!! Thank you!!
We hired Ruben's painting to paint the exterior home. Over the phone, he stated he would would paint, patch stucco fixtures, and sand wood trims. Only thing he did was power wash and paint the exterior of the home. Their quality of work was not what we expected. The owner and his workers failed to provide exceptional work. They were suppose to patch stucco fixtures, sand wood trims. The paint on the front door and vents are peeling off. The work was messy and they did not clean up well. They left paint all over the roofing tile and windows. The owner should be around more to supervise his workers. We are dissatisfied and disappointed with this business. Please do your due diligence before hiring this company.

Making an informed decision will save you time, money and hassle. So how do you begin your search? The articles below will give you the information and direction you need to find the Sonoma County painters that are best for you. First, consider whether you need interior painting, exterior painting or both.Painting may appear to be a simple task on the surface, but interior painting isn’t the same as painting exterior surfaces. The preparation, materials and application methods are different; and not every painter can offer excellence. Interior paints come in more colors and a wider variety of sheens than exterior paints. They also tend to be more stain resistant and washable than exterior paints to allow for scrubbing. Many modern interior paints come in low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) and no-VOC formulas that are safer for use indoors and around children and animals.
Even if you go it alone, specialize to keep your initial investment low. If you do only interior painting, for example, you might get by with one ladder, a few brushes, rollers, basic hand tools and such, for an investment of less than $300. Again, you can add to your tools as you need to (every job is a bit different), and parlay profits into the equipment necessary for exterior painting or working on large commercial properties.
In addition, the cost to paint doors is measured per unit or by a flat price per door multiplied by the number of doors.
This typically falls in the winter months of November-February each year. Indeed, these months are when painting companies are the least busy. Colder weather means fewer exterior painting jobs available for painters and more competitive price quotes for interior work.
Good interior painting contractors take care to protect surfaces and belongings that are not to be painted. This includes masking and taping all light fixtures, hardware, electrical plates and light switch plates. Door knobs, towel racks, baseboards and other objects are usually removed so that the walls behind them are completely painted. Drop cloths are usually carefully arranged to protect unmovable furniture or flooring. The best contractors will also remove old wallpaper or flaking paint and fill in nail holes and wall damage before beginning to paint. Exterior paint is more durable to stand up to weather and the fading effects of the sun. It also must remain flexible to resist peeling and cracking as a result of temperature changes. Some exterior paints have mildew preventers and fungus resistant additives, while others have UV resistant coatings that help them last longer than traditional exterior paints.
But you really can’t afford to contract the wrong company. Not doing your homework may leave you under the assumption that you have hired a painting contractor when in reality you have just hired a painter. When you hire just a painter, you as the homeowner have taken all responsibilities of a contractor.
Interior painting can be done year-round as long as the proper precautions are taken. Be sure to use low-VOC or No-VOC water-based paint products to reduce paint fumes. Furthermore, you can set up a box fan temporarily to air out a room quickly.
I had multiple estimates and at the end I went with Mayco. I worked directly with Ignacio every step of the way. The work was done on time and he was very...
Yes, hiring a professional painter is generally the preferred method, especially if you have to paint multiple rooms or multiple stories. Painters will know the best practices to follow to ensure the best results.
This means more time which results in higher costs to paint depending on the room layout.
Mayco recently painted the exterior of my house, and they did a fantastic job. They quoted me a very fair price, and kept in touch with me throughout the season in regards to start date. Ignacio and his team arrived on time every morning at 8am, and worked until sun down. Their work was very detailed and thorough, the crew very professional, and they cleaned up well after themselves each day and when the job was done. An overall outstanding experience; I highly recommend them!- Stephen F.

How much you spend on mold remediation depends on how far the infestation has spread and whether it has caused significant property damage. You can usually expect to pay between $1,373 and $3,325 for mold remediation, but in severe cases, the bill could run into the tens of thousands.
Ignacio has high quality work. They show attention to detail and excellent prep before painting. He kept me updated and is very professional. Can’t go wrong with this guy.
