To be frank, if that was the case you probably wouldn’t be reading this article. With this in mind, let’s dive into the cost of painting supplies, equipment, and your time.
We hired Ruben's painting to paint the exterior home. Over the phone, he stated he would would paint, patch stucco fixtures, and sand wood trims. Only thing he did was power wash and paint the exterior of the home. Their quality of work was not what we expected. The owner and his workers failed to provide exceptional work. They were suppose to patch stucco fixtures, sand wood trims. The paint on the front door and vents are peeling off. The work was messy and they did not clean up well. They left paint all over the roofing tile and windows. The owner should be around more to supervise his workers. We are dissatisfied and disappointed with this business. Please do your due diligence before hiring this company.
They followed all Covid safety protocols and did an amazing job of painting our home.
Positive: Quality, Responsiveness, Value. We were happy with the final results. Danny Hetherington was excellent to work with and always addressed all of our questions and concerns in a timely manner.
When painting the exterior of your home, you’ll likely inspect parts of your house you don’t usually pay much attention to. In doing so, you might find an unwanted surprise: mold. Experts agree that if you do find mold, you need to get rid of it immediately, and you need to hire a professional mold remediation company to do it.
It takes a lot of time and money for a legitimate painting company to find, screen, hire, and properly train high-quality professional painters; to follow the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America’s standards for craftsmanship on all jobs; to maintain required insurance and workers’ comp levels, and to operate an OSHA-based safety training program. It most certainly costs more for companies to do business this way, which can affect their bid price to the customer. And while the dilemma of the business owner may not be the homeowner's concern, the end result of doing business this way versus the alternative is almost always a happy, well-protected customer, and that is definitely important to any homeowner.
As a secondary source of income and because we really enjoy the process, we purchase and renovate old houses and then resale them. We do most of the renovations ourselves, but we have a team of professional painters who provide house painting services on the exteriors of the homes.
